Privacy Policy

Clousit is designed as a local-first business tool. Core quote, client, job and document data may be stored in the user's browser or device so the application can work without continuously sending business records to a server.

Information processed locally

Depending on the features used, Clousit may process business profile information, customer details, quote and job information, service presets, documents and local settings on the user's device.

Information that may leave the device

Online features can require limited data to be transmitted. Examples include payment processing, account or entitlement verification, support requests, optional cloud features, error reporting and product telemetry. Production integrations will identify the third parties used for these functions.

DOTi telemetry

Product telemetry is intended to measure feature use, navigation, installation, errors and conversion events. The telemetry layer should not intentionally transmit customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, quote text, notes, line-item names, prices, totals or uploaded customer documents.

Payments

Payment information will be processed by the payment provider selected at checkout. Clousit should not store full card numbers or card security codes.

Local storage and deletion

Local data can remain on a device until the user deletes it, clears browser storage, removes the app's stored data or uses an in-product deletion/reset function. Clearing browser data can permanently remove locally stored records unless the user has created a backup.
